General description
Cap for Tunair™ shake flask is a two-piece cap assembly made up of polypropylene. The filter lining in the cap assembly is replaced by simply pinching the flanges of the inner-closure shell until they snap loose. Then pull it apart and remove the used lining. The lining is then replaced by sandwiching it between two parts of the cap and snapping the cap back together. While cap reassembling, ensure the flanges from the inner piece snap into the mated grooves in the outer piece. This makes the cap assembly stay intact during use. Caps can be cleaned using water with a light detergent solution to remove dirt and contaminants and then air-dry.
